Beginners Ballet (Grades K-2) Mondays

Students will begin to develop classical ballet techniques at the barre, in the center, and traveling across the floor. Ballet technique benefits students of all dance styles, and this class serves as a great introduction to those new to classical dance. No dance experience is necessary. At the end of the semester, students will put on a ballet performance for families to attend. 

Please Note: This course is nonrefundable after 08/19/2024.

• Students have a supervised snack period in the HCCS cafeteria from 2:20pm to 2:45pm.
• Instructional sessions are scheduled from 2:45pm to 4:00pm, followed by a brief transition period for students from 4:00pm to 4:15pm.
• After classes and transitioning, students can participate in various engaging after-school activities from 4:15pm to 5:30pm.
• Options include joining student clubs, studying in the HCES library (for grades 2-6) or attending storytelling sessions (for grades K-1), and having free play in the cafeteria or courtyard. [Details about these activities, including club descriptions, schedules, and sign-up information, will be shared during the first week of school.]
