Course Overview

In Vinyasa Restore Flow, students in grades 3-6 will experience a dynamic yoga class each Wednesday, where movement, breath, and mindfulness come together to promote self-awareness and clarity. This course introduces students to the practice of vinyasa yoga, often incorporating pranayama (breathwork), guided meditation, and yin poses to regulate the nervous system. Each class concludes with a group discussion, providing a supportive space for students to share thoughts on various topics. Discussions will be guided by agreed-upon boundaries to ensure respect for themselves, their classmates, and the school environment. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes suitable for movement. Access to bolsters would enhance the relaxation aspect of the class, contributing to a deeper restorative experience.
