Are you ready to get your body and soul moving?
This interactive dance and movement class has everything students need to get their groove on! During the class, students will learn a variety of dance moves and experience different styles of dance, such as hip-hop, creative movement, rhythm-based movement, and more. But this class is not just about following dance steps. It's an opportunity to express yourself through movement and dance.
The teacher will guide children through a choreographed routine and provide them with the tools to individualize the movements and showcase their unique style. Don't worry if you don't have any dance experience - this class is designed for all levels. It's gamified and structured to support physical movement, individual self-expression, and self-empowerment.
Throughout the class, students will focus on building coordination, improving musicality, and learning new dance moves. So, get ready to move and groove your way to a healthier and happier you!
This course is taught by an outside vendor; therefore, this course is nonrefundable after 02/09/2024. Instructional times are from 2:45pm to 4:00pm.
From 4:00pm to 4:10pm, students are cleaning up/packing up and transiting to dismissal, clubs, or study nest.
After enrichment classes, Hawk's Nest students have the opportunity to choose and participate in after-school clubs, study nest, and free play from 4:15pm to 5:30pm.
