Creative Movement (Grades K-3) Wednesdays

This class is designed to spark your child’s imagination while increasing his/her physical coordination and body awareness. By emphasizing visual and creative thinking, your child will experience the power and joy of movement. Carefully guided imaginative play increases focus and concentration while developing essential, age-appropriate physical skills. Your child will be challenged physically and creatively to explore new territory. Taught by Stefanie Nelson, a professional choreographer and dancer with 15 years of experience working creatively with young children.

Please Note: This course is nonrefundable after 01/15/2025.

• Students have a supervised snack period in the HCCS cafeteria from 2:20pm to 2:45pm.
• Instructional sessions are scheduled from 2:45pm to 4:00pm, followed by a brief transition period for students from 4:00pm to 4:15pm.
• After classes and transitioning, students can participate in various engaging after-school activities from 4:15pm to 5:30pm.
• Options include joining student clubs, studying in the HCES library (for grades 2-6) or attending storytelling sessions (for grades K-1), and having free play in the cafeteria or courtyard. [Details about these activities, including club descriptions, schedules, and sign-up information, will be shared during the first week of school.]
