Course Overview:

Join Coach Ray and play Handball with your buddies!

This fast-paced game is played against a single wall between 2 to 4 players at one time. Multiple games can be played simultaneously. The games will be structured around a round-robin tournament, to enable maximum participation.  Have a great time while increasing your fitness, hand-eye coordination, agility, stamina, and flexibility. No previous experience is required. Handballs will be provided, so all you have to bring is your enthusiasm! Please wear normal gym attire. 

Program Schedule:

  • Students have a supervised snack period in the HCCS cafeteria from 2:20pm to 2:45pm.
  • Instructional sessions are scheduled from 2:45pm to 4:00pm, followed by a brief transition period for students from 4:00pm to 4:15pm.
  • After classes and transitioning, students can participate in various engaging after-school activities from 4:15pm to 5:30pm.
  • Options include joining student clubs, studying in the HCES library (for grades 2-6) or attending storytelling sessions (for grades K-1), and having free play in the cafeteria or courtyard. [Details about these activities, including club descriptions, schedules, and sign-up information, will be shared during the first week of school.]
