Hawk's Nest Dismissal Procedures

 

We use the Jumbula checkout system for parents to sign their children out from Hawk's Nest. This helps us ensure a secure and efficient dismissal procedure. Parents will use the Jumbula check-out tool at pick-up by showing a personalized QR code or Pin code to a Hawk’s Nest staff member. To use the Check-out tool, the Jumbula account holder must generate an authentication code from their parent dashboard for each authorized pick-up person and show the appropriate code upon pick-up.

Students in Grades 5-6 are able to self-dismiss from Hawk's Nest at the discretion of the parent. Parents must add their self-dismiss student as an authorized pick-up person and generate a dismissal code for them. Self-dismiss students must provide their code to a Hawk's Nest staff at dismissal.

To generate or display the dismissal codes, please follow the directions below.

Generating the Authentication Codes in the Parent Dashboard

Step 1: Log into Jumbula and go to the dashboard by clicking on the Home menu option.

Step 2: Click on the icon seen in the image below for each parent and/or authorized pick up person who will pick up your child:

Step 3: Note the "Pin Code" and "QR Code". You will need to use this code for proper evening checkout. Hawk's Nest staff will need to scan the QR code or input the pin code at pick-up.

Step 1: Sign in to your Jumbula account and click on the bars in the right corner to open the menu.

Step 2: Click on Home.

Step 3: Under parent/guardian, click on the icon indicated by the red arrows in the image below.
